NAVI MUMBAI: The RPI leader from Navi Mumbai, Jagdish Gaikwad, uttered a derogatory term for the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief, Raj Thackeray, while talking about his anti-North Indians policy at the BJP rally held in Kharghar on Thursday.
Addressing the crowd from the dais, Gaikwad strongly criticized Raj Thackeray with a verbal abuse in Hindi while stating: "Though Raj Thackeray says that he is against north Indians, his lawyer is a 'uttar bharatiya', so is his clothes-ironing man, his bodyguards are also north Indians and also the teacher who teaches his children.
1x1 polls
So what is he (Raj) talking about."
Gaikwad was among the first speakers to address this BJP rally at the venue, where the main attraction was the union minister, Sushma Swaraj.
Swaraj was not present while Gaikwad used unparliamentary language for Raj Thackeray, as her helicopter was delayed by nearly 90 minutes while landing at Panvel for this rally.
